What kind of professional have I become?
I believe I have become a detail-oriented professional. With experience, particularly in statistics, I have developed increased rigor regarding data quality and the consistency of analyses. This attention to detail, which I lacked at the beginning of my career, is now at the heart of my practice, although my goals have always been to produce high-quality work.
From an IT perspective, my interest has shifted towards the industrialization of complex processes. I appreciate the diversity of tasks and constantly strive to make them as efficient as possible. Additionally, I have become attentive to resource efficiency, aiming to make programs less resource-intensive and therefore more accessible to clients.
In project management, I have understood the importance of partitioning tasks and prioritizing them. I have learned that just because I find a feature interesting does not mean it is essential to the project. This ability to prioritize is now a key skill in my project management.
What is my post-BUT project?
In the short term, my project after the BUT is to pursue my studies with a master's degree in a work-study program. This path would allow me to continue learning theoretically while applying this knowledge in a company. My ideal position would be in a large company with a dedicated data team, which would allow me to optimize my skill development. My ideal tasks would be in the fields of big data and cloud computing.
In the long term, I would like to start a company in the web services sector after my studies. The purpose of my studies in this context is to provide me with the skills and experience necessary to successfully carry out projects, skills that I could then apply to develop my own business.
